Responsibilities as Audio-Video/Broadcast Project Engineer:
- Develop technical solutions in response to requests from potential or existing customers in the fields of television, radio, digital media within public or private institutions, for traditional or innovative audio video systems such as IP or cloud technologies.
- Analyze and write the technical responses to the specifications corresponding to the above criteria.
- Performing the role of project engineer for the design and implementation of operations carried out by the company for local projects or abroad.
- Lead and/or take part in project meetings with the customer.
- Carry out assigned design and installation operations.
- Implementing and managing acceptance operations for installations for which the Employee is in charge.
- Make creative suggestions and demonstrate creativity in the presented technical solutions.
- Be part of the 3rd level support team.
Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the audio-video field.
- Technical drawings, familiarity with CAD software.
- Broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES 67, NMOS, UHD & HD video, HDR & SDR video, PTP…) knowledge of baseband video (SD-SDI, HD-SDI, UHD), audio, video routers and multiviewers.
- Experience into broadcast controller solutions such as Lawo VSM, EVS Cerebrum or any other comparable technology.
- Basics of IT technologies (network, virtualization, storage, cloud, …).
- Understanding of encoding and transcoding, compressed video formats, IP contribution and distribution technologies.
- Ability to learn and keep up with technical changes, in a constantly changing environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- An appreciation of project management.
- You are proficient in French and in English. German is an asset.
